Outreach comes from a burden or a calling to meet a need or needs in a local community. GSMI began to fulfill just that in Northern Virginia. Everything from city park events to collaborations with Hearts and Hammers, Commercial vendors and local police departments. For four years GSMI put annual “People’s Banquets’ that ran up to the COVID years. Currently, GSMI arranges school supply drives, three outreaches to seniors, and an annual Christmas giveaway outreach. GSMI also networks with other churches and community organizations for food bank outlets for the needy. GSMI has helped others to create their own community outreaches and offers consultation to anyone that has a vision to reach their community.
